What is the best 9mm handgun for concealed carry?

Question by Serendipity 29: What is the best 9mm handgun for concealed carry?
I know that I want a 9mm. I have a concealed weapons permit so that will not be an issue. Does anyone have a good suggestion? Tell me what you think please? I want something VERY reliable that will not take up too much space. I do not want to have to keep extra ammo on me, just the ammount already in the gun. Thanks!

I wouldn’t do it, it would spark fun at airport security though. I once went on a cruise and i bought a wooden slingshot WITHOUT ammo and they said now and that was like 5 bucks down the drain. Plus with everyone getting all fussy over terror anything resembling a gun would get turned down. Sorry Mate i dont like the ruless and id change it in a heartbeat but airports don’t roll that way

Best Concealed Carry Handgun ? Glock 27 and 40 Cal round

Concealed Carry permits and people concealing a weapon are much more common than most people realize. Weather it’s on a walk, to work, the store, or a concert, more people than you probably know are carrying a concealed handgun. In my opinion, getting a concealed carry permit is very good idea. There’s no way the government can regulate and legislate safety (take Virginia Tech for example, a gun-free campus), so it’s up to us as private citizens to stand up to aggressors or shooters. Someone who intends to shoot up a school or crowded place is far less likely to fire on a group if he knew that some people were concealing weapons, ready to shoot back. But if you are going to conceal a handgun, what is the Best Concealed Carry Handgun to get?

For this category, we’ve picked the Glock 27 as the Best Concealed Carry Handgun on the market today. It was chosen because of its size, round, capacity, reliability /

Walther PPS: Flat Carry 9mm

The Walther PPS is a slim. single-stack 9mm pistol that should be comfortable for concealed carry. Upsides on the design include: very slim design, good ergonomics and simplicity, good sights, interchangeable backstraps, simple takedown, reported good reliability and accuracy, good trigger, excellent fit and finish, cocked indicator, long sight radius, long steel slide rails, and seemingly good durability. Downsides might include: unusual and overly complex magazine floorplate design, gun is rendered inoperable if backstrap drops out, limited firepower for its 22 oz, worthless grip stippling, very high cost, very limited holster and accessory options, and a different magazine release. For the money I would probably opt for either a Kahr or KelTec pistol over this Walther PPS but it remains an interesting design that could serve well in the concealed carry role. /////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 6 of 10
