I fired 9mm round from my pistol yesterday and there is still some ringing in my left ear. How do i get rid of it?

If it was close to your ear, it probably did cause hearing damage, and that ringing noise is tinnitus, which may go away if you are lucky, or more likely will stay if you have been exposed to a lot of noise anyway, like listening to an ipod too loud for too long. If it hasn’t gone within 2 or 3 days then you will be stuck with it for life, there is no cure.

How is the recoil on the average 9MM handgun? Specifically on the Ruger SR9?

How is it for a fairly strong 14 year old? Both average 9MM round in general in a hangun and specifically to the SR9?

Not too bad, as long as you have the correct posture and absorb the shock. Make sure he knows what’s coming and isn’t surprised by the recoil.

What is the best 9mm handgun for around $500?

Question by LT777: What is the best 9mm handgun for around 0?
I am considering the Sigpro 2022, the Glock 19, and possibly the springfield xd 9. I want it for defense and just general target shooting. I realize that any of the handguns I mentioned would most likely be fine for this, and that a lot will just depend on personal preference. However, I am still looking for opinions and soild reasons on which is the best 9mm. Thanks.
Has anyone shot the ported XD? I am not sure if I would like it or not. Does it flash or anything if you shoot it at night? and is there a potential to throw anything back toward your face? Also, has anyone actually shot the Sigpro 2022? It’s Sigs ploymer framed handgun and the MSRP is $ 599, but I think I could get it for a little cheaper. Everyone always says how great Sigs are. Im not sure if I would like the DA/SA trigger. Is the trigger pull on the XD pretty good? Any information along these lines would be appreciated.

I’m seriously considering the Beretta PX4 Storm, you should look at that. It’s really well balanced and feels great in your hand.

the Walther is about $ 320 new, and the Phoenix Arms is About $ 170. I personally like how the walther looks because it looks like a bigger caliber and is combat in style, and I know it would be very reliable. But, the Phoenix is so much cheaper and from owners of them I have talked to said they were reliable.
