it is a glenfield model 10 single shot bolt action 22 rifle with 4x scope it is in excellent condition made by marlin firearms. Right where the stock and barrel meet it is stamped BL on the barrel does that mean anything? I don’t need this rifle how much could i get out of it? or does it just vary by gun dealers?

This is an original 1890 black and white print ad for the Marlin Safety Magazine Rifle Model 1889. This particular model was made for Annie Oakley, nicknamed “Little Miss Sure Shot” by Sitting Bull. The company began around 1870, under the ownership of John M. Marlin, and later his successive sons. During World War I, the company was bought by a New York conglomerate, and it was renamed the Marlin Rockwell Corporation and became one of the largest machine gun manufacturers in the world for the United States and its Allies. In 1924, the company went up for auction and was bought by lawyer Frank Kenna, who purchased the business for 0, as the only auction-goers were children, a dog and Mr. Kenna. The Kenna family has run the business ever since. The Model 39 and 336 are the oldest shoulder arm designs in the world that are still being manufactured.

possibly a browning “squareback” i will look to find its true model name. the name of the browning i mentioned is the Auto 5. not a sideloading shotgun by the pics i found.
the next possibility is the browning B2000.
