Review of the Gamo Whisper and Daisy Powerline 880S.

We bought a couple air rifles so we can plink in the back yard. Both chambered in .177. The Daisy is a bit more of a toy, it shoots both BBs and Pellets. The Gamo is more of a serious air rifle at 1000 fps with lead pellets and 1200 fps with their gold plated PBA.

What is the difference between a Gamo Whisper and the Gamo Shadow CSI?

I live in Britain not USA and I own a Gamo Shadow CSI. I have heard alot about the Whisper and I am unsure of the differences… Please HELP!

The big difference is that the Whisper has an integrated suppressor (moderator) in the form of a shrouded barrel. There’s also a bit of a difference in caliber and velocity. Gamo claims a velocity of 950 fps for the Whisper in .22 caliber and 1200 for the Whisper in .177, compared to the Shadow’s 1000 fps in .177 (and lack of availability in .22).
